How to Open a Stock Demo Account in MT5 Platform
Stock practice accounts are used by beginner traders to practice & learn how to trade the stock market.
A demo stock account is also used by stock traders to learn about the workings of a stocks platform - for example MetaTrader 5 stock demo account can be used by stock traders to learn how the MetaTrader 5 stocks trading platform works.
Once a trader opens a stock demo account on the MT5 platform, the demo account can be used to login to the MetaTrader 5 stock platform. Once a trader opens and logs in to their MetaTrader 5 stock platform using the MetaTrader 5 stock practice trading account they can then open stock charts, analyze stock charts & open stock trades in MT5 platform using this MetaTrader 5 stock demo account.
To open this stock demo account a trader will first need to sign up with their stock broker & specify to open MetaTrader 5 stock practice account after which they will be issued with a MT5 stock practice account sign in number and password.
Using this sign in account number and the account password stock traders can then login to MT5 software and place trades on their practice account using this MetaTrader 5 software software.
Opening A MT5 Stock Demo Account From MetaTrader 5
Stocks traders can also open a stock MetaTrader 5 demo account from MT5 platform.
To open a stock MetaTrader 5 demo account from the MetaTrader 5 platform a trader will first need to download the MetaTrader 5 stocks trading platform.
After downloading the MetaTrader 5 stocks trading platform a trader will then need to install the MetaTrader 5 stocks platform on their computer.
After installing the MetaTrader 5 stocks platform on their Desktop PC computer a trader will then need to open the MetaTrader 5 platform on their computer and from the MetaTrader 5 platform workspace a trader will then follow procedure explained below so as to open a Stocks Demo Account on the MetaTrader 5 Platform.
- Select File Menu at the Tops Left Corner of the MT5 platform
- Select Open Stock Account from the File Drop Down Menu
- Select Open Stock Practice Account Option
- A MetaTrader 5 Stocks Demo Account Sign up Window Panel will then appear prompting you as the beginner stock trader to sign up for a MT5 stock demo account.
Once you register for the MetaTrader 5 stock practice account you'll then be provided with stock account log in details - MetaTrader 5 Demo Account Login Number and Login Password.
You can then use these MetaTrader 5 demo account sign in credentials to sign in to your MetaTrader 5 Stocks Demo Account. To login to your MetaTrader 5 stocks account you can use the following procedure:
- Open MT5 stocks platform that is installed on your PC computer
- Select File Menu at the Tops Left Corner of MT5 stocks trading platform
- Select Stocks Account Login from the File Drop Down Menu
- Choose Demo Account Login Option
- A MetaTrader 5 Stocks Demo Account Login up Window will then appear prompting you to enter your MT5 stock practice account login number and password.
- Click Login
Once you click the login button you'll then be logged in to your MetaTrader 5 stock practice trading account and you can then use your MetaTrader 5stock demo account to open stock trades in MetaTrader 5 platform.
