How to Place Stock Technical Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Stock Charts

Step 1: Open The Software Navigator Window Panel

Open Navigator window panel as illustrated and shown below - Go to " View " menu (then click) & then choose the " Navigator " window panel (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button or press keyboard short-cut key "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window panel, choose 'Technical Indicators' , (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Stocks Technical Indicator Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking on the expand button marker (+) or double click the "indicators" menu, after that, this button key will now then appear as (-) and will now display as a list as illustrated & shown below.

From Above window you can then add any technical indicator that you want on the stock chart.

Placing Heiken Ashi on Stocks Trading Chart

Step 1: Choose the Heiken Ashi button key in MT4 list of technical indicators as displayed below:

Step 2: Double-click the Heiken Ashi Button Key, & click okay to place the technical indicator on the chart as displayed below:

To Adjust Settings, right click on Heiken Ashi Trading Indicator, select properties settings & then edit the properties of the technical indicator using the pop up menu that pops up and then click ok button key after you change settings.

The following popup window appears & Technical Indicator settings can be edited from this pop-up.
