Place Volumes Indicator on Stocks Chart on MT4 Platform

This Tutorial will explain how to place the Volumes Indicator on a Stock Chart in the MT4 Platform.

How to Place Stocks Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Stocks Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window Panel

Open Navigator window panel as illustrated and shown below - Go to " View " menu (then click) & then choose the " Navigator " window panel (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button or press keyboard short-cut key "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator panel, choose "Technical Indicators" , select Indicators (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Stock Trading Indicator Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking on the expand button marker (+) or double click the "indicators" menu, after that, this button key will now then appear as (-) and will now display as a list as illustrated & shown below.

From Above window you can then add any technical indicator that you want on the Stock chart.

Placing Volumes on a Stock Chart

Step 1: Choose the Volumes button key on MT4 list of technical indicators as displayed below:

Step 2: Double-click the Volumes Button Key, & click okay to place the technical indicator on the chart as illustrated below:

Edit Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust the Settings, right click on Volumes Technical Indicator, select properties setting & then edit the properties using the pop up menu that appears & then click ok button key after you change settings.

Following pop-up pops up and stock technical indicator settings can be edited from this popup.
