Place Moving Average Stock Indicator on Stocks Chart in MT4 Software

How to Place Stock Technical Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Stock Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window Panel

Open Navigator window panel as illustrated and shown below - Go to " View " menu (then click) & then choose the " Navigator " window panel (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button or press keyboard short-cut key "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window panel, choose 'Technical Indicators' , (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Stocks Technical Indicator Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking on the expand button marker (+) or double click the "indicators" menu, after that, this button key will now then appear as (-) and will now display as a list as illustrated & shown below.

From Above window you can then add any technical indicator that you want on the Stock chart.

Placing Moving Average on Stocks Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the Moving Average button in the MT4 list of technical indicators as illustrated below:

Step 2: Double-click the Moving Average Button, & click okay to place the technical indicator on the chart as displayed below:

Edit Trading Indicator Setting

To Adjust and Change the Setting, right-click on Indicator, choose properties settings and then edit the properties of the indicator using the pop up menu that appears and click ok button after you change settings.

The following popup window appears & Technical Indicator settings can be edited from this pop-up.
