Place ADX Technical Indicator

This Tutorial will explain how to place the ADX indicator on Stock charts on the MT4 Platform. For Technical analysis: ADX Technical Analysis.

How to Place Stock Technical Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Stock Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window Panel

Open Navigator window panel as illustrated and shown below - Go to " View " menu (then click) & then choose the " Navigator " window panel (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button or press keyboard short-cut key "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window panel, choose 'Technical Indicators' , (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Stocks Technical Indicator Menu on the Navigator

Expand the technical indicator menu by clicking on expand button marker (+) or double-click the "indicators" menu, after that, this button will now then appear as (-) and will now display a list as illustrated and shown below.

From Above window you can then add any technical indicator that you want on the stock chart.

Placing Average Directional Movement on a Stocks Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the ADX button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double-click the ADX Button, and click ok to place the technical indicator on the chart as displayed below:

To Adjust Settings, right click on the ADX, select properties settings & then edit the properties of the technical indicator using the pop up menu that pops up and then click ok button key after you change settings.

The following popup window pops up and ADX settings can be edited from this popup.
