Place Zigzag Trading Indicator in Chart on the MT4 Platform

How to Add Indicators on MT4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Software Navigator Window Panel

Open Navigator panel such as illustrated - Navigate & go to "View" menu (then click on it) & then select and choose "Navigator" window (press), or From Standard ToolBar click "Navigator" button or press key-board shortcut keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator section, find and pick "Indicators", (Press the button twice)

Step 2: Expand the Technical Indicator Menu on the Navigator

Expand this menu by clicking the expand (+) tool/button sign ed (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, afterwards the button then will now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a listing just as is illustrated and shown below.

From the panel window above, you can add any indicator you wish to the chart.

Placing Zig-zag on Chart

Step 1: Select the Zigzag button from the MT4 indicator list, as depicted below:

Step 2: Double Click the Zigzag Button Key, and click okay button to place it on the chart such as displayed:

Edit Zigzag Indicator Settings

To change settings, right-click the Zigzag indicator and choose properties. Edit them in the menu that appears, then hit okay.

The ensuing floating panel is displayed, permitting adjustments and revisions to the Zig Zag settings directly through this pop-up interface.
