Place MACD Indicator in Chart on the MetaTrader 4 Platform
This trading lesson shows how to add the MACD indicator to a chart in MT4 software. It covers MACD analysis.
How to Add Indicators on MT4 Charts
Step 1: Open The Software Platform Navigator Window Panel
Open the Navigator panel just as illustrated below - Go to the "View" menu (then click on it) & then choose/select "Navigator" window (press), or From Standard ToolBar click the "Navigator" button or press keyboard shortcut keys "Ctrl+N"
In the Navigator area, find and pick "Indicators", and then (Press it twice quickly)
Step 2: Expand the Technical Indicator Menu on the Navigator
To expand this section, click the expansion affordance, often marked with a '+' symbol, or alternatively, double-click the "indicators" menu item. Following this action, this symbol will toggle to a '-' sign, and the menu item will then be displayed as a list, similar to the representation below.
From the Above window then you definately can upload any indicator that you because the dealer need on the chart.
Setting MACD on Chart
Step 1: Select the MACD button from the MT4 indicators list. It's displayed below.
Step 2: Double-click the MACD Button Key, and then click the "OK" button to put the technical indicator on the chart, as shown here:

To change MACD settings, right-click on it, pick Properties, adjust what you need in the pop-up, and click OK when you're done.
A window will pop up where you can change and adjust the settings for the MACD Indicator, using the options in that window.
