Place MACD Indicator in Chart in MT4

How to Place Technical Indicators on Meta Trader 4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click it) & then choose "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Tool bar click the "Navigator" button key or press keyboard short-cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On Navigator window, choose "Indicators", (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the Indicator Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking expand button marked (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a list as shown below.

From the Above panel you then can add any indicator you want on the chart.

Setting MACD on Chart

Step 1: Choose the MACD button key in MT4 list of technical indicators as displayed below:

Step 2: Doubleclick the MACD Button Key, & click ok to place the technical indicator in the trading chart as pictured below:

Edit Indicator Settings

To Change Settings, right click in MACD Indicator, select properties setting & then edit properties using the pop up menu that pops up & then click ok button key once you've changed the settings.

The following popup window panel appears and MACD Indicator parameters can be edited from this pop up panel.
